What people ask us at the kitchen table.

Why is my power bill so high in Florida?

Usually one of four things: the air conditioner, a pool pump or pool heater, an electric water heater, or a rate plan you never picked. In a Florida home the AC is often half the bill, and the water heater and pool are next. Before anyone sells you panels, the bill itself tells you where the money goes. We read it first.

I have solar and my bill still went up. Why?

Something is wrong with the system. A failed inverter, a tripped breaker, dirty or shaded panels, a monitoring account nobody watches, or an installer that went out of business and stopped answering. We repair solar from any brand and any original installer.

Is solar worth it in Florida?

Sometimes yes, sometimes no. It depends on your usage, your roof, your utility, and what is actually driving the bill. We show real cost and real savings, no inflated 25 year chart. If the answer is not solar, we say so.

What cuts a pool or water heating bill fastest?

Solar thermal. A solar pool heater or solar hot water system costs less than a full solar electric system and removes the biggest heating load in the house. We have installed both in Florida since 1999.

Most sites with a name like this take your number and sell it to five contractors before you've put the phone down. Then all five call you. This page is owned and answered by AllSolar Energy, Sanford, Florida, since 1999. One company. Your name goes to our own office and nowhere else, and the person who calls you back works here.
